Welcome to Agency Reporter PRO! This guide will walk you through setting up and running your first marketing audit in minutes.

Prerequisite: You'll need a Groq API key before using the AI features. Visit console.groq.com to create a free account.

What is Agency Reporter PRO?

Agency Reporter PRO is a portable, offline-first marketing audit tool designed for agencies. It combines 15 specialized AI agents that help you:

  • Analyze websites and identify optimization opportunities
  • Generate professional client proposals
  • Create stunning PDF reports
  • Research competitors
  • Write copy, emails, and social content

System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or Windows Server 2019+
  • Storage: 500MB free space
  • Memory: 4GB RAM minimum
  • Internet: Required for AI features (API calls)

⚙️ Installation

Download the Software

Extract the ZIP file to your preferred location. We recommend C:\Program Files\Agency Reporter PRO\

Run the Application

Double-click Agency Reporter PRO.exe. The application will auto-install any required dependencies.

License Activation

Enter your license key when prompted. Your hardware ID will be captured automatically for hardware-gated security.

Important: Your license is bound to your machine's hardware ID. Do not attempt to modify or bypass this—it violates the EULA and will result in license termination.

🔑 API Setup (Groq)

The AI agents require a Groq API key to function. Groq offers a generous free tier with no credit card required.

Setting Up Your API Key

  1. Visit console.groq.com and create an account
  2. Navigate to "API Keys" in the sidebar
  3. Click "Create API Key" and give it a name (e.g., "Agency Reporter")
  4. Copy the key (it will only be shown once!)
  5. Open Agency Reporter PRO and go to Settings (gear icon)
  6. Paste your API key into the Groq API Key field
  7. Click "Save" - you're ready to go!

Tip: The free tier includes 60,000 tokens/minute of inference. That's roughly 500+ full marketing audits per month—at no cost!

🔍 Running Your First Audit

Select "Full Audit" or "Quick Snapshot"

Choose Full Audit for comprehensive analysis or Quick Snapshot for a 60-second overview.

Enter Client URL

Paste the website URL you want to analyze. The tool will automatically detect the platform and gather data.

Review Results

Within seconds, you'll see scores, recommendations, and action items. Click any section to expand details.

Export or Share

Click "Copy for Email" to grab text for your report, or "PDF Export" to generate a client-ready document.

Accessing Agents

Click the "Agents" tab in the main navigation to see all available agents. Click any agent to activate it.

📄 Generating Reports

Markdown Reports

Use Market-Report agent to generate clean text reports you can copy-paste into your own templates.

PDF Reports

Use Market-Report-PDF agent to generate branded, visual PDF reports ready for client delivery. Customize your logo in Settings → Brand.

Branding: Upload your agency logo in Settings to automatically brand all PDF outputs. Impress clients with professional, white-label reports!

🔧 Troubleshooting

Common Issues

API Key Invalid: Double-check your Groq key. Ensure no extra spaces when pasting.

License Activation Failed: Your hardware ID may have changed (new motherboard, etc.). Contact support with your order number.

Analysis Timeout: Large sites may take longer. Try Quick Snapshot for faster results.

Can I use this offline?

Yes! The core audit engine works offline. AI features require internet to call the Groq API.

How do I update the software?

Download updates from your account page. Back up your settings first, then reinstall over the existing folder.

Can I transfer my license?

Licenses are hardware-bound and non-transferable. Contact support for bulk license transfers (10+ seats).

Where are my reports saved?

Reports are saved in your local ./app_data/reports/ folder. SQLite database in ./app_data/.
